Class of 2019 News

Hello Class of 2019 Parents,

Just wanting to provide an update following our Tuesday (December 6th) morning Parent Rep Committee meeting. Thank you to those who were able to attend. We understand that several other interested parents could not attend due to work or various other reasons…this being a busy time of the year.

Here are the proposed events specific to our class of 2019:

  1. Parent Coffee
  2. Parent Social
  3. Mom’s Night Out
  4. Dad’s Night Out

* Locations and dates to be determined. If you would be interested in Hosting an event in your home, please let us know!! ūüôā As Hosts, you would only be required to ‘open your home’ to the guests. All Set up, Clean up, Food, Drinks, etc. would be provided by Parent Rep Committee volunteers.

We are looking for one or two parents to Chair/Organize each of these events! A Signup Genius will then be created for each event, with various volunteer opportunities to choose from. * Regarding Mom’s Night Out and Dad’s Night Out, these could be hosted in a home or possibly at a restaurant/bar or out for an activity such as King’s Bowling. Whatever the interested parties decide upon.

In addition to the 4 events above, we are also looking for 2 people to take on the role of Spirit Wear parent advisors. This is actually run by the Student Government, however, still requires some parental input and involvement. (Ideally, the Parent Association would like 2 parents from each grade to be involved.)

The Parent Association (PA) hold a monthly meeting which is open to everyone! This is a great way to become more informed as a CCHS parent and/or to become more involved with school events. Watch for upcoming meeting dates and times in the CCHS Daily Bulletin. (We will also send out a reminder!)

If you are interested in being a part of the Class of 2019 Parent Rep Committee, PLEASE email us ¬†so that we can include you in future Committee Rep emails. This is open to all…the more the merrier!!

Lastly, The PA is developing a database for All school-wide volunteering opportunities at CCHS. To add yourself and your specific interests, please click here: Volunteer!
