Sophomore Parent Night *TONIGHT* Thursday, October 22, 2015 7:00 pm CCHS Auditorium CCHS Counselor Katie Goldrick and Adjustment Counselor Kelli Kirshtein will provide an overview of the timeline for college admissions, discuss issues around stress and risk factors for adolescents, the influence of peers, and supports available to students.
Parents & Caregivers: Want to be more involved in school activities? Now’s your chance! We have opportunities to work directly with students and others that are more behind the scenes. We have one day events and programs that run the whole year. There are PA administration opportunities available too. There’s something for everyone! Take a look:
As you may have heard, the PA is realigning to better fit with the Student Government reorganization. We will now work together, regardless of the grade(s) in which you have children, to facilitate and support the school events and fundraising. We hope this will allow parents and caregivers to select the types of activities that most interest them and best match their skill sets. It will also better allow for continuous mentoring and historical knowledge transfer as we create groups and committees that include underclassmen parents and upperclassmen parents. We are all working towards the same goal… making the CCHS experience the best it can be! Thank you for all that you do to the help accomplish this goal.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have questions; contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Class of 2018 elected the their officers (President: Michael Levinger, Vice-President: Ruchi Naidu, Treasurer: Chao Cheng, Secretary: Daisy Kielty) and we have faculty advisors (Kelli Kirshtein, Josh Reed). The students in collaboration with the faculty are excited about doing a few more freshmen only events. They did a great job selling t-shirts at back
to school night.
Additional Freshman class T-shirts are available and will be on sale during lunch blocks in the upcoming weeks.
The Class of 2018 had a wealth of activities the first weeks of school and parents worked incredibly hard making Orientation events and the Freshmen Social huge successes. Thank you to the parents who stepped up with food donations, and in particular those who worked hard setting up, name-tagging, prepping food, grilling, decorating, chaperoning, and cleaning up for your student’s first events as a high schooler. Thanks also to CCHS faculty, staff and admin for all of their help. Over 400 were served lunch at orientation and more than 200 students attended the Social!
Welcome parents of the Concord Carlisle High School class of 2018. We hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful summer weather. Below is some information regarding the beginning of the school year.
